We are glad to have you as part of our team! We understand that your job can be challenging at times and offer both our support and gratitude. Please always feel free to let us know your questions or concerns so that together we can provide the best services to special needs students.
Listed below are just a few reminders to keep in mind:
•Always let us know as soon as possible any changes to your address, phone number, email, or bank account.
•You are allowed to have up to 6 hours of training per year, in addition to the mandatory Safe Schools 1.5 hours of computer training program.
•Timesheets MUST be faxed and/or emailed from the school prior to the close of the school day on Friday (or the last work day of the week) to 410-777-8657. Substitutes must use the substitute timesheet, notating for whom they subbed. Our alternate fax is 1-866-855-9438.
•Social Service Consultant employees may only work a maximum of 6 hours per day, even if you work at the middle or high school level. You are required to take a half hour unpaid lunch break if you work a full day. If your school requests you to extend your work day (for instance to do bus duty) you must be given compensatory break time during the work day.
•If you haven’t already done so, please set up an account on View My Paycheck, as this is the only way to view and print paystubs and W2s. The website is https://paychecks.intuit.com. When visiting, click on “employees” and then “open an account”. This is a secure website operated by Intuit.
•Please allow 2 weeks for any changes to your personal records, such as tax deductions, direct deposit, etc. Any employment verifications or other forms should be submitted to the office via fax at 410-777-8657. Please understand that we will work as quickly as possible to complete your requests but it may take up to 2 weeks for final completion and return.
